National Security Law Journal joins ABA as official sponsor of the 9th Annual Homeland Security Law Institute

Homeland Security Law Institute 2014 Brochure CoverThe National Security Law Journal at George Mason University School of Law has joined the American Bar Association (ABA) as an official sponsor of the 9th Annual Homeland Security Law Institute, which will be held Thursday and Friday, August 21-22, 2014, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.

This annual look at the state of homeland security features 21 panels taught by 100+ experts in national security policy and the fight against terrorism. Topics include immigration law, homeland defense, the role of the military, chemical safety, the balance of privacy and security, emerging threats to the homeland, infrastructure protection, public-private partnerships, export control, disaster response and recovery, and cybersecurity, among others. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with legal practitioners from government agencies, the military, private practice, and academia.
