National Security Law Journal bringing former top CIA lawyer to Mason Law campus

Company ManOn the evening of Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014, the National Security Law Journal will host Company Man: Thirty Years of Controversy and Crisis in the CIA, a conversation with John Rizzo on his life as the CIA’s top lawyer. Rizzo’s thirty-four-year career culminated with seven years as the Agency’s chief legal officer.  The conversation will be moderated by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Matt Apuzzo. Copies of the book will be available for purchase, and attendees are welcome to have a copy signed by Rizzo following the event.

The event will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the multipurpose room of Founders Hall on the Arlington Campus of George Mason University located at 3301 Fairfax Drive, Arlington, Virginia.  A public parking garage is located under the building. It can be accessed from North Kirkwood Road. The closest Metro station is Virginia Square/GMU on the Orange/Silver Line, about one block away.  Light refreshments will be provided. Registration is complimentary, but space is limited, so advance registration is recommended.
